I'm Waleed, a developer who enjoys learning about software and technology to build useful tools and applications. My mission is to seek software engineering excellence and share my experiences with others.
Engineering excellence is the pursuit of being excellent at the craft of engineering, being both efficient as well as effective in delivering delight to customers and in the process deriving pride and satisfaction from the work and the finished product. It is an endeavour, not an end goal and it spurs us as engineers to wake up each day to just build better and become better at our craft. - Heemeng Foo
I'm currently working as a software engineer at BBC, where I help develop and maintain the sign-in and launch features of BBC iPlayer. I recently completed a BSc in Software Engineering from the University of Huddersfield and am looking to pursue post-graduate study in Software Engineering.
